Air Jordan 9 Particle

These fit very true to size. I ordered the same size I wear in Adidas running shoes and Converse Chucks. Light weight, but quality feel. I was seriously surprised at how comfortable these shoes are, especially since they are such a great price. I'd say I would rate them as a very good walking or hiking shoe, as a running shoe I'd say they should be good for short runs, under 2 miles, they lack some arch support for much longer runs. I bought them for a shoe to take on a trip where I will be doing morning 3 mile fitness walks, they are perfect for that.

I've had a few pairs of these over the last couple years. Through work, they get put through a lot of wear and tear situations and hold up very well compared to shoes I've used in the past. They're also great shoes for working out. I typically keep two pairs at all times, one for work and one for working out. I just switch out the work shoes with the gym shoes and buy a new pair as necessary.

I bought these because I've had trouble with blistering and pain when trying to get more into walking long distance, and I found that my previous New Balance shoes were not giving me the results I wanted. The deciding factors for buying were the good reviews from those with similar issues and the fact that I could get them with next morning shipping. I walked 5.5 miles in them that very day, and at the end my feet felt no worse than they had when I started, which is outstanding! I will probably get a second pair to alternate days.

these fit great. I also like that they come in black. Getting a shoe that fits well, comes in black, and is sci for table is surprisingly difficult, but these do it.
I get about 6 months of running out of each pair until I retire them from workouts and put them on walking duty.

I am changing my rating to 5 because now I think it's primarily my fault for not measuring my feet again. I shouldn't assume my shoe size never changes, so the previous size I ordered was not really relevant.

This is a very good shoe. Nice outer sole and very comfortable. I did, however, have a couple of issues. I ordered my usual size and found them to be too narrow for my toes. I returned them right away, and ordered a half size up and ordered them in wide. That made all the difference. Second, the insole is not removable. It's soft, but a little more structure needed. So I added a sport insole and now they're great. I do recommend these shoes.

I have never purchased shoes on-line before. I liked the looks of this model and it was on sale at a good price. I am a walker not a runner, but I log several miles each day on city pavement and park trails. I have feet that are sometimes hard to fit because of past injuries. A high instep and a little toe tucked in under the toe next to it sometimes cause me to choose wide shoe sizes.
